Somehow I cannot keep myself from running around trying to save every little flower that still has life from the impending frost.
My garage is stuffed with potted ferns, flats of begonias, a few choice impatients and a couple of large fushias. And in the house, we have some bouquets for the weekend!
Don't you have to be a super-hero to save the cosmos?
ReplyDeleteLol! I think J. Witmer is so hilarious.
ReplyDeleteZawsze ostatnie jesienią kwiatki maja dużo zdjęć, bo to ostatnie. Dużo ich jednak masz jeśli stoją w wazonach w domu. Pozdrawiam
ReplyDeleteI would just save the seeds. :) Gorgeous photo. I only have the yellow ones.
ReplyDeleteOh, I must be a meanie. Whatever dies, just dies! I do, however, cut blooms for a final bouquet in the house.
ReplyDeleteWell Julie mine bit the dust but they even look beautiful in decline....
ReplyDeletePink cosmos are utterly glorious!
ReplyDeleteSome of us just inherit that gene. I started stowing plants in October. Comes a freeze, I'm dragging in a stray fern, taking cuttings of things I already have, saving the world. It's okay.
