Ooo, Sammy the squirrel looks so cute in the snow. But I think you will be glad to see greens again instead of whites, snow will soon be melted with the sun.
Thanks Janneke. Yes, definitely looking forward to green. As we drove home from the library today, my daughter Grace shouted out, "Look!! There is a little bit of green grass! Really, it is right there!!!" :) ~Julie
Our snow should be completely gone after today - thankful!! We weathered a nasty storm this past week ending - flood waters from rain first, then another 10" of snow. It's behind us now - thankful! I'm sure you're chomping at the bit to get back out there and get on with your plans in the landscape!
I reminded my children who were complaining about the snow and longing for "garden days" again, that they will be begging for snow when October comes. Humans are such fickle creatures :) ~Julie
Here too....about 3-5 ft depending where in the garden...but it will be a couple of weeks of warm days...now if we can get the warm days....we had one today!
Awww, what a cute squirrel! Apparently it was 57 back home (Wisconsin) today, and most of the snow is melted. It almost makes me want to leave Florida early. I can't wait to see the Crocuses and Daffodils, and the spring ephemerals! Soon spring will happen for all of us. :)
