Fall is here, but all is still green...

Christmas fern (Polystichum acrostichoides) in the Shade Path.
Rain and the golden hour do beautiful things for the garden...
...like making the lichen vivid green...
Hosta, Brunnera, Christmas fern, Aquilegia, Digitalis grandiflora and Sedum 'Frosty Morn' glowing this week after the rain.

  3. I love those lichens! I removed three flowering crabs this past week and two were also covered with lichen... almost made me reconsider my decision to take the trees down! Larry

  5. Fabulous greens...even with all our rain, we are certainly not as green as the reds are already showing on the trees.
