  2. It still amazes me that you propagated all that beautiful phlox from one half-dead pot off the nursery junk heap.

I love October's Asters with the pumpkins.

  3. I love the phlox you have in the may picture. It is so cuddly and squishy looking!
I also love the pink peony-looking tulips. I forget what they are called.

    1. Thanks Olivia! Those are Tulip 'Angelique' and they are in fact classified as a "peony flowering" tulip.

  7. Very pretty - I love how your gardens have names, I really need to do that! The phlox is perfect, and its more perfect because you massed the same one instead of breaking up the effect with different colours, stunning!

Now what is the name of the clematis that is growing through the roses - so charming!

    Happy Wednesday ~ Brenda

  11. That first photo with the Irises and Crocuses is a great capture of a moment. It makes you feel like you're there. And then to see the garden transition through the seasons is so sweet.

  12. I love your garden style! Drifts of blooms, cottage gardening, stone walkways, small little dainty blooms in the front and the bigger grasses and blooms in back....everything.
I'm so glad to have found your garden blog. I'm learning a lot and I need to share your site with another cottage gardener I know down here in Texas. You two are garden twins!
I especially like this idea of showing a section through a part of the year. What a creative way to present a planting.

A tip of the trowel to you for a job well done!

  14. As a gardening novice, I would love to see what exactly you planted in your driveway garden to get it to look beautiful all year. Is the diagram of that somewhere on your site?
