  4. Angelique is a great flower for Easter Julie! I love that tulip when open - used to have it in my previous garden and it returned really well year after year. Yours looks so great nestled there among the lamium.

  5. Happy Easter! Beautiful tulip, but what's most gorgeous is the entire planting as a whole. The colors just say 'spring'. That pop of yellow is perfect.

  7. Happy Easter Julie, another lovely combination. Can you show a close-up of the Heuchera 'Citronelle' sometime soon, it looks an interesting plant. Christina

    1. Sure! I will try to get that soon. I love that plant already! I could put it in at least two other gardens... and it stayed looking that nice all winter long, even in 0 degrees F.

  9. I too like the planting as a whole. The Lamium is a hard-working companion plant; gives the Heuchera some healthy contrast.

  10. Punch is a good way to describe those vivid, cheerful colors. My tulips are still several weeks away, but I'm looking forward to a bunch of new soft yellow 'Jap Groot' blooms. 'Angelique' is always a beauty, no wonder it's so popular. You've made such a nice setting for it.
