Autumn Scenes at Havenwood

Dew drops on the last of the blue annual love-in-mist, Nigella 'Moody Blues' in the Rose Garden.

Streaks of sun through the Woodland garden.
The last of the sunrises through the spider flower (Cleome hassleriana) and feather reed ornamantal grass (Calamagrostis x acutiflora 'Karl Foerster')
What a beautiful autumn! I am outside this week working on planting our 950 bulbs for the season. My goal is just 50 per day... should be done before it gets too cold that way! For some inside peeks into my bulb planting and other garden jobs, follow me on Instagram at WMGardener. :)

I hope you are able to get out in the beautiful autumn weather this week and enjoy just being in your garden!

  1. 950 bulbs! Wow! I planted 200 early spring-flowering bulbs and about 100 Alliums. Can't wait to see the show here and your photos next spring and summer!

    1. The early ones are my favorites :) I went for many more small bulbs this year, and only one tulip variety.
      Thanks for reading, Beth!
