The Potager

Dill flowering in our kitchen garden this summer.
We enjoyed mixing in some flowers among the veg and fruit this summer. It creates such a beautiful atmosphere in this productive garden and attracts beneficial insects too.

The lush green growth in July in the Potager. I planted chives along the central path of the garden in the spring.

  1. I love the flowering dill. That will ensure lots more for next year. This late summer I divided my chives and planted then in between my roses. I've read that it helps keep pests away. We'll see.

  2. Your garden is just beautiful! I have two places in my yard where I have planted chives. I use them often and I love how they look when they bloom! I should plant some dill too!
