An Egg Hunt and our Bunny...

Iris histrioides 'Katharine Hodgkin' in the Birch Walk
Our bulbs have been a great success so far at Havenwood this spring, even though they were covered in snow just a week before Easter. The snow melted and they made the perfect little hiding spots around the garden for colorful eggs on brown leaves... Can you find them all? ;)

I hope you are enjoying spring in your part of the world!

  1. I love your bulbs in the garden, especially the Katharine Hodgkin Iris clusters are so pretty and not to forget your pet bunny Ginger. We have wild bunnies in the garden and I'm not amused, but I only can smile when I see them jump and run away when they see me and within 10 minutes they are back......

  4. Oh, you are brave to have a bunny for a pet! I have so many in th garden that eat my plants. Argh. But I love your idea to hide the Easter eggs among your beautiful spring flowers! I might have to "borrow" that idea for next year!

  7. Love the flowers sprinkled all over the place. Are these ones you planted in the fall? I planted some crocus bulbs in the fall and the pleasure and delight of seeing them this spring was great. I plan on adding a lot more this fall.
