Welcome to Pennsylvania in February! |
I am making a bit of an orchid collection on our library window this winter. |
Join in with your blooms at May Dreams this month!
It is hard to believe that last year, we had lenten roses, snowdrops and even the first crocuses coming up.
Here is to hoping that spring will arrive soon!

I love the orchid collection...
ReplyDeleteOrchids are so stunningly beautiful, no wonder you are starting a collection. Hope your snow goes and that you see all your early spring flowers soon.
ReplyDeleteWe have not got any snow this winter' the weather is wet and stormy but extremely mild, so spring is in the air. Orchids are great flowers in wintertime, nice to have a collection of them.
ReplyDeleteThe orchids are lovely and how nice to have enough for a collection! And to have those beautiful colors to enjoy when everything else is buried under snow! I have a few "inherited" orchids that I am mangaing to keep alive but no blooms yet. And my hubby gave me an orchid for Valentine's Day that has beautiful blooms. I'm looking forward to the day I have blooms on my other orchids.
ReplyDeleteOrchids are wonderful! For me, they bring all the gardening excitement that is lacking outside during the wintertime. You might enjoy my Valentine's day post! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI'm sure your collection will go rapidly as orchids are so addictive! Especially now, with big house to accommodate them in larger number.
Stunning photos!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe I got so far behind in my reading Julie...catching up and I know isn't it just too much this winter. Another big storm this week and we have 3 ft of snow on the ground still...spring will come in her own sweet time.
