Mulching fun with the kids!

Mulching with kids in the garden
Mulching season, Spring 2013
Do you have this much fun with your mulching?!?

I think it is the *GIANT* pile of compost that really gets them excited. Spring is here and here is something they can finally just dig in to - any way, any how. And, boy, it does seems limitless... especially to the kids. :)

I wanna help! They are ready to roll... at least for one load a piece. Mommy will finish the rest. :)
Me and my daughter with her missing tooth... she is so proud!
Me and my daughter working around the Circle Lawn. See her her missing tooth? She is so proud of her space!
Down to work then.
And yes, hand washing is mandatory after such an activity! As is a completely new set of clothes.  Make that three sets... plus one for me. (Oh, the laundry... and the happy mess of life!)

  9. I just had to read and see this post. You caught my interest with the title. Gosh, you're right--that's such a great project for kids. I can remember enlisting my kids' help with painting a small outdoor project, and it was equally enjoyable because of their enthusiasm. You'll have such great memories, too!
