A pretty little bell flower that I think I remember correctly as Campanula 'Tinkerbell'. |
One quiet flower in my mostly frozen garden for GBBD today...
I hope that December finds you all warm and snug, enjoying the festivities and friends of the season.

Check out May Dreams for Garden Blogger's Bloom Day. I look forward to seeing some more color from other parts of the world this month.
Such a beautiful blue Campanula in wintertime!
ReplyDeleteOne perfect flower is better than none at all. I love the way the leaves curl to frame the flower. Christina
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect gem, so beautiful in all the dreary darkness of the winter.
ReplyDeleteTinkerbell as a name suits it so well. We thawed out just in time here for GBBD.
ReplyDeleteWonder if that's a harebell - Camapanula rotundifolia?
ReplyDeleteI love the color of your little 'Tinkerbell". I've never had much luck with campanula, but I think they are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely little flower in December...may the season bring you and your family joy!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, gorgeous. That must be good luck to have a bloom in December in your northern garden.
ReplyDeleteThis frozen bloom's beauty rivals any of those in summer. It's gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteJulie, No blooms in my garden this month -- not even 'tinkerbell'. We just returned from Longwood Gardens where I got my December 'bloom fix'. Have a blessed Christmas! P. x
ReplyDeleteSo glad that you were able to visit Longwood for Christmas. It is magical... and oh so nice to enjoy the conservatory on a cold day! Perhaps we will see some photos? I do not think we are going to make it out this year. Merry Christmas!

One beautiful flower is enough.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty photo of the bell flower. I love the photo of your family too. I wish you all a joyous holiday season.
