Coreopsis 'Moonbeam' and Sedum 'Red Carpet' |
Two great plants that seem to live together in harmony... the North American native Yellow Tickseed,
Coreopsis 'Moonbeam', and the low spreading Stone Crop
, Sedum 'Red Carpet'.
I caught sight of these two playing nicely at a family stop on our summer trip to Virginia. We also stopped at two great gardens along the way. More photos coming soon!

Coreopsis 'Moonbeam' and Sedum 'Red Carpet' are thriving in this extremely low maintenance garden by a walkway. |
Julie, sedum Red carpet is my favorite plant, because it's perfect in many combination with other flowers!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!!! I've been meaning to get some of that Sedum...just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI would have never thought to put these two together! Like Scott, I've been meaning to get some of that sedum, too. Now I know what to pair it with!
ReplyDeleteVery lovely...without rain my coreopsis is struggling but this is one of my favs...like the colors and textures
ReplyDeleteThat's a great combination! They look so natural together.
ReplyDeleteThey do look good together and complement each other with their colour, shape and texture. Movement too with the sedum being static and the coreopsis moving in the breeze - perfect!
ReplyDeleteI just saw both for sale at $1.80 each. They were on clearance. I need to get some. Yours look great together.
