Thanks Janneke! We are still more than a month behind our normal spring, but we are going to start having some truly hot weather this week... time to get moving in the garden! I will be posting some new photos of our improvements soon. ~Julie
It is such a wonderful time when you have a new garden, waiting to see what will pop up! Erythroniums are so beautiful with their pretty flowers, they are over so quickly, but it is worth it!
They cover a large area too! A very nice surprise, when most of the garden is sparse to say the least. I have always wanted a large patch of these though, so it is worth adding the rest of the pretties! :) ~Julie
Julie that trout lily is a prized native that I see will be blooming in my meadow soon...how wonderful to watch what grows in your new garden.
