It was a busy weekend around here that ended in a trip to
Phipps Conservatory for their
Orchid & Bonsai Show. Here are a few photos of the small and beautiful
Dendrobium 'Andree Millar' orchid. There are hundreds of orchids under-glass at Phipps this winter. I am hoping to have some more time to share them this week. Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteIt really is, Holley. I think I have taken it for granted, but am realizing what a nice thing it is to have a conservatory of this size so close by.... especially in the US.

This is such an unusual orchid...I really liked it and it makes me want to start having my own orchid
ReplyDeleteI agree, Donna. I am quite drawn to green flowers in general. I have begun to wish for a little grotto area in a conservatory of my very own :) Gardeners are always thinking up new visions of beauty.
