...this song has reminded me yet again of the Father's great love for us... of his relentless pursuit of our hearts and of my call to love my children like He loves me...

To a mommy friend...

What you do... we do... all day is making people.

Instead of only bearing your kids from your body and being done with them,
     you are emotionally and spiritually bearing with them,
        making them more every day.

This kind of teaching is more difficult because there is no "gold star"
you can stick on your accomplishments... like perfect test scores or a weighty reading list.

You are making your children who they will be the rest of their adult lives 

- or at least giving them a solid jumping off point... 

They will thank you more for that
than for making sure they had no holes in history this year.
